One of Hong Kong’s top luxury shopping destinations is about to go green! Lee Gardens, famed for their premium, upscale business and retail facilities, have teamed up with local social enterprise, Green Monday, to debut a series of green initiatives to undergo a commitment toward responsible living with many eco-friendly programs. Over a period of ten weeks, beginning 23 July until 30 September this year, the #GoGreenCWB campaign will feature more vegetarian menus at over 20 restaurants and buy-one, get-one-free deals across Lee Garden One to Six, Hysan Place and Lee Theatre. Lee Garden Three, Hysan Development’s newest addition, will also host cooking workshops and workout activities to embrace a green and healthy lifestyle.
Restaurants offering a wide array of culinary inspirations from Chinese, Western, Italian, Japanese and more have designed unique plant-based dishes to partake in the movement. From light meals, desserts, to Michelin-starred dining, shoppers can choose to dine from a myriad of outlets like Tsui Hang Village, Shelter Italian Bar & Restaurant, An Nam, HABITŪ to name a few. In addition, a select number of restaurants have joined the #GoGreenCWB campaign to provide diners an exclusive buy-one-get-one free Green Monday offer all green or select dishes from popular restaurants like BRICK LANE, Panino Giusto, Sky Bar and the like at the beginning of each work week until the end of September.
“We believe that the innovative vegetarian menus, specially curated by the participating famous restaurants will delight the palates of countless gourmets,” Green Monday Co-Founder David Yeung said in a statement, who believes this collaboration will encourage more Hong Kongers to practice healthy and sustainable eating and living.
Popular home appliance brand, KitchenAid, have invited top chefs to organise vegetarian ‘Refreshingly Green Cooking Workshops’ at their flagship store and Nike Training Club (NTC) has also partnered to run a series of healthy workout activities. For an even bigger incentive to Go Green this summer, Lee Garden is also launching a Go Green Spending Rewards Campaign; by spending a designated amount at participating Go Green restaurants, customers can participate in a Refreshingly Green Cooking Workshop or NTC Healthy Workout activity, or redeem a Pure Fitness 7-Day Pass.
The #GoGreenCWB campaign runs from 23 July – 30 September 2018 from Lee Garden One to Three and Six, Hysan Places and Lee Theatre. Green Monday Buy-One-Get-One-Free offers are available every Monday while supplies last. Find more information here.
