Opendoor Cafe + Courtyard is a welcome addition to the Western district. Behind the bustling dried seafood markets of Des Voeux Road West, find this health caf’ gem. They are one of the only places in town to offer almond and coconut milk as a dairy alternative on top of the regular soy option. We love that their authentic Kiwi cafe experience includes using organic milk and eggs straight from New Zealand. They make their own pasta and their own brioche, their own tarragon-flavoured pie pastry, their juices are actually freshly squeezed- this is the real deal and we haven’t even mentioned the coffee, which some say is the best in town- we leave it to you to decide A must try for brunch, breakfast and lunch!
