Welcome to the Green Queen Presents: Made in HK – Brooklyn Edition @PMQ – Oct 11 2014 application.

 

We look forward to receiving your application. Applications are rolling and the event is curated by Green Queen to ensure maximum variety, quality and suitability. The event is not first come first serve. This event is dedicated to locally made prepared artisan F&B products and vendors without an existing retail space in Hong Kong- these vendors will be privileged in the selection process.  

 

Please ensure you read everything carefully. 

 

IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION MESSAGE ON THE SCREEN AFTER YOU SUBMIT THE APPLICATION, THEN WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT. GREEN QUEEN WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR NON-RECEIVED APPLICATIONS. 

 

Important Details – MUST READ:

• DATE: Saturday October 11 2014
• LOCATION: PMQ Aberdeen Courtyard + Marketplace, 35 Aberdeen Street, Central.  
• PUBLIC HOURS: 11AM to 6PM
• VENDOR SETUP: 9AM to 10.30AM
• VENDOR CLOSING: 6PM to 8PM
• Basic Table Package: 1 Table (1.76M x 0.6 M x 0.76M) and 2 Chairs HKD 1, 700.
• Electricity Access per 1 x 16A outlet: HKD 100 per table.
• Deposit: HK 1000. 

 

Green Queen Made in HK Rules & Regulations – MUST READ:

GREEN QUEEN ADMIN

• Please use getintouch@greenqueen.com.hk for all communication, please make sure emails go into your primary folder so you do not miss any communication regarding the event.
• Due to the high volume of vendors, Green Queen will not be responsive on phone/Whatsapp/SMS. 
• Due to high demand and volume of enquiries, Green Queen will not be able to respond to emails for information that has already been shared on this page. 

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

• Your stall is NOT confirmed until we receive your full payment including the deposit. Due to high demand, if you do not pay on time as per invoice, we will give the space to the next vendor in line. 
• Vendors are responsible for sending a copy/proof of payment receipt via email to getintouch@greenqueen.com.hk. Green Queen is unable to chase up on payments. 
• Deposit: HK 1000. This protects Green Queen against furniture/equipment damage, cleaning of garbage not properly disposed of, no-shows, and any other type of damage. Green Queen will return your deposit to you upon checking your table area at sign off on the day of the event after 6PM.
• In the unfortunate circumstances of a cancellation after confirmation and payment, Green Queen will be unable to issue a refund for the table rental fee.

SETUP & ATTENDANCE

• Vendors must remain at their tables until the public close of the event at 6PM- no early clearance. Vendors who leave early will forfeit their deposit. 
• No-show vendors forfeit their deposit and their table fee. 
• Green Queen reserves the right to refuse entry to late arrivals. No setup allowed after 10.30AM- no exceptions. 
• All vendors must ensure that their materials, products and garbage are cleared from the venue by 8PM latest on October 11 2014.
• All vendors must be officially signed off by a Green Queen staff member before they depart from the premises in order to ensure they their stall and stall area has not been damaged or left with debris or garbage. Failure to abide by these terms will mean forfeiting of table deposit. 

ELECTRICITY

• Electricity Access for 1 x 16A outlet: HKD 100 per table. You are responsible for your own extension cords and plugs.
• Vendors are responsible for safe usage of electricity outlets (no overloading of power, no liquid substances nearby) and for the operational safety of your electrical equipment.
• Power outages caused by faulty electrical equipment will result in  your deposit being forfeited and possible further penalties. 

SIGNAGE

• You are responsible for your own marketing collateral, signage, tablecloth, and sales accessories, none of which can be taped/stuck to any floor or walls as per PMQ venue guidelines. 
• Affixed decorations, signs, banners, bunting, streamers, stickers or such items to any surface within the Site are prohibited and vendors will be responsible for any costs incurred by Green Queen for cleaning or repairing damage caused by removal of such items/vendor deposit will be forfeited. 
• Only the official Green Queen flyer for the event is to be used for marketing purposes. 
• Vendors are responsible for safe usage of electricity outlets (no overloading of power, no liquid substances nearby) and for the operational safety of your electrical equipment- power outages caused by faulty electrical equipment will result in  your deposit being forfeited and possible further penalties.
• The affixing of anything to the walls, floors, or ceilings with nails, staples, or tape of any kind at any time is not permitted.  If this is done without authorization or damage is suffered, the cost of repair and/or replacement as well as the consequential loss of business resulting from the damage shall be billed to you.  
• You shall be held responsible for all costs of refurbishment and replacement in case of any damage to the venue and/or loss or damage of any equipment or art works.

CLEANLINESS & RUBBISH DISPOSAL

• No smoking allowed at vendor tables/areas.
• Vendors are responsible for keeping access paths clear for the public.
• During market hours, please keep your stall as neat and tidy as possible and please leave your stall just as you found it once you are finished. Please dispose of garbage in specified areas provided and recycle where possible in the marked containers.  
• Tables and chair must be returned in the same condition as they were given before the start of the event otherwise your deposit will be forfeited. 
• Leaving garbage in your sales area/public areas will result in the forfeiting of your deposit.
• Please use garbages provided by Green Queen for small items. For large items, please dispose in closed garbage bags at the venue trash disposal area near entrance A2 (see diagram at the bottom of this page) on Staunton Street.
• No cartons/boxes/signage/containers.
• No blocking of exits, entrances, stairways, elevators, aisles or any other public access areas.
• Vendors are prohibited from disposing of trash/garbage/rubbish in the public restrooms of PMQ. This includes liquid disposal in drains/toilets. 
• Your storage area is limited to on or under or the allowed area behind your vendor table. No other storage is permitted. 

LICENSING

• Vendors are fully responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate/compliant licensing as per Hong Kong law. Green Queen is unable to organize this on vendors’ behalf. 
• No cooking or food preparation is allowed during the event on the premises- no exceptions. All food must be pre-made and pre-assembled and pre-packaged. 
• Basic reheating of ready-prepared food is allowed if you have a Temporary Food Factory License. You can learn more and apply here. Green Queen is not responsible for the cost/application of the license.
• Vendors selling alcohol must successfully apply for a temporary liquor license. 
• Green Queen will have no responsibility for any vendor licensing issues. 

LOADING/UNLOADING

• Loading/Unloading: from Aberdeen Entrance (A2 – see diagram at the bottom of this page): before 10am or after 10pm as per PMQ venue guidelines.
• Loading/Unloading from Staunton Back Entrance (A4 – see diagram at the bottom of this page): no time restrictions.
• No loading/unloading allowed other than as per the above conditions. Vehicles that don’t abide by the above will be asked to leave. 
• Vendors are responsible for their loading/unloading according to the above stipulations; trolleys/carts will not be provided by Green Queen for this purpose. 

OTHER

• Green Queen will curate table layout. No special requests can be accommodated due to high volume of vendors.  
• Subletting of tables is forbidden.
• Vendor tables are all covered – not open air. 
• Green Queen is not responsible for loss of vendor belongings. Please ensure you take care of your products, materials and personal effects.
• Absolutely NO domestic helpers are allowed to work at your table as per Hong Kong law.
