We, as a self-healing community, The Water Lily Yoga Project 2017 offers 'donation-based' Ayurvedic yoga therapy classes to the public to raise funds for the Mayaa Nepal NGOn which helps deprived children in Nepal. We follow Ayurvedic 5 elements to create a healing space for all:
- Ether: chanting mantra
- Air: pranayama (breathing exercise), yoga nidra (full relaxation of consciousness) to release stresses, worries, frustrations and non-stop thoughts.
- Fire: yoga poses to pacify excessive heats in the body (e.g. shoulder pains)
- Water: self-massage, rotations, and yoga poses to nurture mind, body and spirit.
- Earth: yoga poses to ground, support and to strengthen the body to release griefs, sadness and depressions.
Youth Outreach aims at supporting at-risk youth to grow through programmes focused on supporting youth and helping young people find themselves. They carry out programmes such as the All-Night Outreaching Team and Youth Employment Start-up Program.
