Hong Kong is truly evolving. A couple of years ago, putting together a list of caterers dedicated to cleansing, healthy and specialty-diet friendly menus would have been nothing short of impossible. Today we are spoiled with options. Below, Green Queen’s favorite catering choices for every type and size of event, not to mention for every diet!

Great For Healthy Corporate Events, Brand Launches & Store Openings – Love True Foods

Love True Foods‘ menus are designed by a nutritional therapist and can be vegetarian, vegan, lacto-ovo, ovo-vegetarian, and raw vegan. Indian Ayuredic cuisine is their specialty but other Asian and Western dishes are also available. Ingredients are organic and locally sourced when possible with a focus on seasonality. Catering can be arranged for cocktail receptions of up to 150 people, buffets for up to 60 and sit-down dinners for up to 25 guests. Love True Foods is a full-service option: they can help with venue rental, staffing and cleaning. They require at least a week’s notice.

Great For Detox Lunchboxes & Wellness Events – Prana Yum

Prana Yum‘s ashram-cuisine inspired vegetarian menus involve a plethora of Ayruvedic and Incan superfood ingredients for maximum cleansing. Many of their lunch boxes and canapes have South Indian feel from their fermented rice idlis to soothing curry dahls to turmeric shots. Ingredients are organic where possible and their menus are mostly free of gluten and most common allergens. They can accommodate from 15 to 50 people and require a three day lead time.

Great For Bespoke Dinner Parties & Buffet Style Events – Urban Health Pop Up Kitchen

In addition to their gluten-free private kitchen,  Urban Health also provides catering services for events of up to 60 people and they can create dishes to suit to any dietary requirements. They even have a nutritionist on staff to help with menu planning and can help with on site staffing. They use organic produce when possible and offer both Western and Asian influenced cuisine. They require require at least ten days lead time.

Great For 100% Raw Vegan & Healthy Brunch – Peace of Green Kitchen

The only exclusively raw vegan catering service in town, newcomer Peace of Green Kitchen  offers event canapes and platters that most people would be hard pressed to recognize as raw. They use locally sourced and organic ingredients to create their raw tree nut cheeses, raw wraps, raw pastas, raw cakes, raw pizza, raw tarts and raw breakfast dishes.

Great For Vegan Lunch Platters & Office Meetings – Living Alive Events & PR

Looking to clean up your office lunches? Living Alive Events & PR provides an Office Clean Eating Pop Up menu that is sure to boost even the lowest morale. Specializing in raw dairy free dip platters such as beetroot hummas and mint and scallion pesto, the lunch tasting menu also includes a vegan salad and raw desserts. The menus are customizable and can accommodate almost any dietary requirement- you name the allergen and they can sort you out. Besides lunches, Living Alive Events & PR can set you up for up to 300 people, including providing serving staff. Their lead time is one week and they have a 10 person minimum.
