Due to Covid-19, many of us are spending a lot of time at home. A third of the global population is under lockdown, 89% of the world’s student population continue to face school closures, and most countries have implemented social distancing measures to curb the spread of the virus. With the pandemic expected to linger for the next weeks and months, you may be thinking about how to keep entertained. Below are some websites that you might find handy to revisit for everything from weekly exercise tutorials to concerts.
Harry Potter at Home
J.K. Rowling has just launched Harry Potter at Home, a website full of free Harry Potter-themed magical craft videos, quizzes and puzzles for everyone – super helpful for parents who are struggling to keep their kids occupied at home. P.E. with Joe
Joe Wicks, known as The Body Coach, has been streaming his 9.00am workouts online on Youtube every morning for kids and their families to get their daily 30-minutes of exercise in. For those who are in a different time zone, the videos are available on Youtube for everyone to play. Recently, popular British singer George Ezra has persuaded his label to waive royalties for his songs so that they could be used on Wicks’ lessons, and all the revenues will be redirected to the NHS instead.

The bedtime stories will for sure come in handy for all the parents and children out there who have had their normal routines disrupted by the school closures.

Every Sunday will be electronic, Tuesdays will be dance and electro, country songs on Thursdays, ambient on Fridays and “Coronight Fever” raves every Saturday evening. You can tune in live or listen to all his “Corona World Tour” sets here.
Piano concerts with Katharine McPhee & David Foster
The husband and wife composer-and-singer duo said that they will be playing daily concerts every evening, and will take song suggestions from their fans who tune into their Instagram Live videos.
