Smoothies are the perfect way to ingest your vitamins and nutrients while giving your digestive system some much-needed time off. Smoothies are easy, smoothies are convenient, smoothies are delicious- there’s simply no reason NOT to love smoothies.
Below we’ve created four vegan smoothie recipes in the Green Queen kitchen that are as tasty as they are are nutritious.

Protein Latte Smoothie
This metabolism boost is the perfect pre-workout drink- also ideal for those of us who hate breakfast whilst nursing a serious coffee habit.
Ingredients
Serves 1
- 2 espresso coffee shots
- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 1 scoop vegan protein powder
- 1/2 tbsp maca powder
- 1 tbsp Grade A maple syrup
Directions: blend all the ingredients and serve.

A triple hit of potassium makes this smoothie ideal for blood sugar issues- plus it’s an enticing mix of creamy and tangy all at once.
